For Mother's Day, we have a special bonus! Megan's mother Karen stops by to talk about mothers and daughters in the movies! We start with our snack review. Necco wafers were one of Karen's favorites... and something Megan avoided. If you like them, you can find them HERE! After having our snack, we discuss the history of Freaky Friday, beginning with the book, which you can find HERE on Amazon! Then, we revisit the original 1970s version starring Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris and talk about the gender roles and generational differences in the movie. Then, we look at the early 2000s remake starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. Both versions as well as the 2018 version are on Disney Plus: You can also watch the 1995 made-for-TV version of Freaky Friday on YouTube below! Which did we like best? Listen to find out!

We decided to review some Christian entertainment for our bonus Easter episode! Superbook was a Christian television show created by the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) in the early 1980s. The show ran for 2 seasons and led to the spin-off Flying House a year later. The show was rebooted in the early 2000s, and we review those episodes as well! You can read about the man behind the series HERE and the history of the series HERE in fascinating articles from Vision Christian Radio. You can find the original episodes below, which are provided for free on YouTube by CBN. The new series can also be found on Amazon Prime HERE.
Before we dive into Superbook, we try some chocolate bunnies! If you want a quality bunny from Russell Stover, you can find a wide variety HERE on their website!
